A.J. Stecklein
Attorney
Attorney A.J. Stecklein has spent thirty years pursuing justice for victims and protecting the downtrodden from the system. He began his legal career as a prosecutor in the Wyandotte County District Attorney’s office, fighting for crime victims. He spent years as a public defender, assuring the accused’s legal rights were protected in the system.
He has litigated real estate cases, business law, personal injury, and trust and probate issues.
Along with protecting client’s rights in those issues, in the past decade and a half, his practice has turned to helping consumers who fall victim to identity thieves, unfair businesses, and a sometimes unsympathetic financial and credit system.
He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates, the nation’s leading advocate for consumer justice. He presents continuing education seminars for other attorneys on consumer issues.
He was admitted to the Kansas Bar in 1994 and the Missouri Bar in 1995. He also is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, the U.S. District Court for Kansas, the District of Nebraska, and the Southern District of Indiana.
